FAQs

What is the hire time?  The Kid’s Space and Church are available to hire for 3 hours slots of either 9.30am-12.30pm or 12.30-3.30pm or all day (9.30am-3.30pm). The Barn is only available for all day hire (9.30am-3.30pm).

Hire time includes the time required by the hirer to setup and pack up the party. The hirer must leave adequate time at the end of the party to pack up, clean up rubbish and food items and leave the space as they found it. This includes sweeping the floors and wiping the tables if required.

Can I add hours to my package? Additional hours can be added to the end of the afternoon or all day package for an additional $75 per hour. Time cannot be added to the end of a morning slot, however hours can be added to the start of the hire for an additional $75 per hour. This needs to be prearranged with your Party Coordinator and paid for in advance.

What does it mean by non-exclusive hire? Hire of the venue is non-exclusive, unless specified. The Hirer will have exclusive use of the spaces specified in the booking but the shared spaces (toilets, car park) will be used by all guests. The outdoor area of the Kid’s Space and the courtyard will only be available for shared use if not hired by another Party. To receive a quote for exclusive hire of the venue, please contact your Party Coordinator

What are the capacity limits? The spaces are subject to the following restrictions regarding patron numbers:

Non-exclusive hire – a total of 80 guests overall

Exclusive hire – a total of 120 guests overall

What about the clean-up? The space must be left in the state in which it was entered. Hirer will be charged cleaning costs if it proves necessary.  A garbage bin will be provided along with a box of cleaning products. Hirers are requested to take home any rubbish that will not fit in the bin, otherwise additional rubbish removal charges will be charged to the card on file.

What does the Party Coordinator do? The Party Coordinator will liase with you in the lead-up to the party to ensure that you have all of the required information and are ready to party. On the day, your Party Coordinator will answer any questions you may have, provide assistance with setup and pack down if required and will be on-hand to make delicious drinks for your guests.

Can I have a bouncy castle? A bouncy castle can be used in the barn (under the Let’s Dance sign, or outside the large barn door) or the church (at either end of the room). If a bouncy castle or other soft play equipment is used, the Hirer must supply and use a suitable floor covering underneath to protect the floor from damage.

Do you have recommended suppliers? We have worked with some amazing suppliers! Check out our party packages brochure for all of our recommendations. Got someone else you would like to use? GREAT! We love meeting new talented suppliers. If you or the supplier has any questions please contact your Party Coordinator.

Can I have an animal farm? Animal farms can be setup within the outdoor areas with prior approval from your Party Coordinator. We expect the supplier to clean up after the animals and if additional cleaning is required by the venue then cleaning fees will be charged to the card on file.

Can my caterer have access to the kitchen? The kitchen is included in the hire of the Kid’s Space – this includes use of the oven, refrigeration and wash room, and excludes use of the deep fat fryers. If caterers require use of the deep fat fryers then an additional charge of $75 is required and they will be required to send a copy of their insurance to the Party Coordinator prior to approval.

If you have hired the barn or church, the kitchen can be hired for an additional $120 if it is not being used through hire of the Kid’s Space. This can be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the hire date.

Can I have a food truck? If you have hired the church or the barn then you can hire a food truck to be located close to your space to serve your guests.

Can my suppliers access the venue outside of the hire slot? Please contact your Party Coordinator to discuss your requirements. We will try to accommodate early access where possible but additional charges may apply.
